The IR International Resource Network (IRN)

IR’s International Resource Network (IRN) contains profiles of journalists, photojournalist, researchers, aid workers, field experts and information officers working in, or with matters that concern, the developing world.

International Reporter (IR) is a Norwegian NGO working to improve the quality and quantity of news coverage on topics from or related to areas in Africa, Asia and Latin-America, in Norwegian media.

In order to do so we are building a network of media professionals and people who work with matters that concern the non-western world. We are looking for journalists, photojournalist, researchers, aid workers, field experts and information officers that can help Norwegian and other foreign journalists in their efforts to report the non-western world to a western audience.

The network’s aim is to promote the use of sources from the story’s location, provide reporters with original angles, and facilitate journalistic cooperation across borders.
